Great stuff. This is a topic I struggle a lot with regarding my Korean and Japanese deep value stocks (of which I have several...). At least politicians and stock exchanges in both places are more focused on the topic now than at any time in the past (although more changes are required to really address the issues).
The point that a stock at 30% of net cash may have no real floor above 5-10% is a useful way to frame it. Between the exemptions you listed, which would you trust most as a real trigger - a controlling parent with no concentrated insiders, or an old founder facing the inheritance tax rule change?

Excellent work.
